Relay North Carolina allows FAST customers to access telephone services during normal operating hours.  This free service provides full telephone accessibility to people who are deaf, or otherwise hearing impaired or speech disabled.  This service allows hearing callers to communicate with text-telephone (TTY) users and vice versa through specially trained operators.  To use this service, dial 711 on your telephone keypad.

Communicate With FAST

Fayetteville Area System of Transit provides a vital service to the residents of the city. As a result, the media has an interest in us and our services. Representatives from the City's Corporate Communications department assist Transit by providing information about FAST operations and improvements.

All requests for information, interviews or photographic/digital images should be made in advance to the City's Corporate Communications department at (910) 433-1547. We will try to provide the information, spokesperson or photographic/digital image within your deadline.

If you want to film, take photographs, or interview customers on City of Fayetteville Transit property, please make your request in advance through the City's Corporate Communications department.

Document Requests

All document requests should be made to the City's Corporate Communications department.

While on FAST Property

If you are on Fayetteville Area System of Transit property for an interview or to review requested information, a staffer will meet you at the location and assist you during your visit. For your safety and security, please stay with your assigned representative while on our property.

Any additional requests or questions while you are with us should be addressed to the representative assigned by the City's Corporate Communications department or FAST Transit Department.

When filming (live or taped), taking a still photograph, or conducting interviews while on Fayetteville Area System of Transit property, please allow our passengers to enter/leave buses, shuttles, vanpools and transfer areas without obstruction. Please do not block or restrict the movement of our bus, shuttle, or FASTTRAC! Service customers. If a rider declines your interview or photo request, please respect the passenger's wishes.

Complaint forms are available at all FAST locations and on our website. FASTTRAC! customers wishing to submit a complaint in person may request an appointment with the Paratransit Operations Manager by calling (910) 433-1232 and selecting Option #3, or by emailing FAST@ci.fay.nc.us. All correspondence relating to FASTTRAC! will be documented and forwarded to the Paratransit Operations Manager on the day it is received. If a response is required, it will take place within 48 business hours.
