Sunday Bus Routes

The Fayetteville City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 14, 2017, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 433 Hay Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 to describe the following proposed FAST fixed-route bus service changes and to receive comments from the public:

Establish New Sunday Bus Routes

Individuals who would like to speak at the public hearing must register in advance with the City Clerk. The City Clerk's office is located on City Hall's 3rd Floor, 433 Hay Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 and is open during normal business hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Citizens may register in person, via fax at (910) 433-1948, by email at, or immediately before the meeting in the City Council Chamber between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM by giving their name and address.

Citizens may learn more about the proposed service modifications and provide comment at the FAST Transfer Center, 147 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, NC  28301 or the FAST Administrative Offices, 455 Grove Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

City Transit staff will also provide an opportunity to learn about the proposed Sunday Service Plan and to provide comment at the following times and locations:

Monday, July 31, 2017 (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM), Headquarters Library, 300 Maiden Lane, Fayetteville, NC  28301, along Route #4 & #12

Wednesday, August 9, 2017 (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM), Cliffdale Branch Library, 6882 Cliffdale Road

Fayetteville, NC 28314, along Route #18/near Route #17

Thursday, August 10, 2017 (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM), Bordeaux Branch Library, 3711 Village Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28304, along Route #15/near Route #8

Written comments or questions about the proposed changes will also be accepted through April 10, 2017 and may be emailed to or mailed to:

Once public comments have been received and reviewed, a final service plan will be presented for consideration of approval by City Council.  If approved, the Sunday service will commence on or about November 12, 2017.
