Is FAST going to install a bus stop between the 1st stop on Strickland Bridge Road and the 2nd stop at the YaYa Food Mart (Route 10)?

FAST is continually assessing its stop locations to determine where additional stops may be needed.  Customer input is taken into consideration.  We also have to consider space requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 to ensure that the proper sidewalks and concrete pads can be installed for accessibility.


Is FAST going to install a bus stop by the blue ice box on Cedar Creek Road (Route 3)?

How can the public find out about service interruptions during inclement weather?

FAST posts all service delays and interruptions on the main page of this website, under the News & Alerts section.  In addition, you can call 910-433-1747 for updates.


Is FAST going to add more bus stops on the Route 10 return trip?

How does a 1-Day pass work?

When you purchase a 1-Day pass, it is not activated until the first time you use it.  Once you put the pass in the farebox, it will activate the pass and stamp the back with the time it will expire.  The pass is good for a full 24-hours.  If you activate the pass at 9:05 AM on a Tuesday, it will expire at 9:04 AM on Wednesday.


Is FAST going to install a bus stop across from the Chick-Fil-A on Ramsey Street?

When is FAST going to start 30 minute service on all bus routes?

FAST is working to provide additional service throughout the City of Fayetteville in the form of new routes, additional bus stops and increased service frequency.  You can view our TDP here for specific plans.


What is being done about the overcrowding on Route 14?

Route 14 is one of our busiest routes.  Many students use this route to get to FTCC on a daily basis.  On especially busy days, if we have a second bus available, we do add it to the route to alleviate some of the crowding.  We continue to look at options for adding additional service to our system.


When is FAST going to offer Sunday Service?

FAST is working to provide additional service throughout the City of Fayetteville in the form of new routes, additional bus stops and increased service frequency.  You can view our TDP here for specific plans.


Can you create a system to alert riders via text when a bus is late or broken down?

We are actually working on this now!  Stay tuned for updates...


Can you add an ATM and bigger bathrooms?

We are looking into the possibility of adding an ATM to the FAST Center when it opens next year.  The new center will also have bigger restrooms, with multiple stalls.


Can you offer children's fare discounts based on age and not height?

We use the industry standard of children under 36" tall riding free with a paying adult.
